1945

Charles Bernard “Sully” Sullivan and wife Claire Marie co-founded C.B. Sullivan Company, a New England barber supplier. Claire handled accounting and inventory, while Sully, in his delivery van, supplied barbers with their professional essentials.

1980

C.B. buys the business from his parents with aspirations to expand. Eventually joined by each of his siblings, they grow the company to be New England’s largest beauty supply distributor spanning throughout 6 states with 32 professional stores, 200+ team members and the top haircare brands in the industry. C.B. would eventually sell to SalonCentric in 2010.

2010

The Sullivan Beauty Board of Directors—Tyler, Kerry, and Lauren—became skilled leaders, collaborating directly with their father, who served as CEO. Reclaiming the Sullivan Beauty name in 2017, they dedicated to representing quality brands, fostering innovation for beauty professionals, and ensuring success through continuous improvement.
